Design:
They are now both in a glossy finish but still plastic I really like the w31 design here as it is not a fingerprint magnet turning to the other side. They both got a matte texture with an oval-shaped speaker. In enco w51 both microphones are in the bottom for better pickup when in call both are comfortable to wear and they seal tight when partnered with right ear tip sizes.

Charging:
The charging the oppo encode w31 took about 2 hours and 30 minutes to charge the case and the earbuds from zero to one hundred percent. While encode w51 fully charge for just one or in 20 minutes charging time is impressive on w51 even it has a larger battery capacity. Overall the capacity of encode w51 and charging time is what stands out while you get extended usage on w31.

Sound quality:
The quality of each on the oppo phone to really determine and hear the full potential on oppo encode w31. The base is present and the mids are good the treble is a bit lacking and not that crisp and it is best for casual listeners however it has two audio profiles balance mode and base mode to enhance the bassy sound that is not present on the oppo encode w51.

On the other hand oppo encode w51’s normal sound is nearly the same as w31’s base mode profile and the treble is better and crispier the clarity of both earphones can be more good but acceptable in its price range and again it is also for the casual listeners.

Call quality:
The best thing about the 2 is the excellent call quality. We don’t have complaints about its call quality in its price segment there are no hissing sounds but to compare these two on each I don’t really determine the difference.

Noise-canceling:
The encode w51 has active noise cancellation which is pretty effective. The w31 is still catching up if you turned off the anc on w51. oppo w31 has less noise in normal mode still w51 has anc. So there is no competition there also w51 has ui wireless charging which is a great feature on its price point.  Noise canceling is great it gives you a better battery since you don’t need to max out the volume in a noisy environment. And it will not damage your hearing when needed to turn up the volume to the highest possible since you don’t perfectly hear the sound in a noisy environment.

Downsides:
Both Earphones don’t have volume controls which is a little bit bummer as some users want a hassle less experience and want to control the volume right through the earphones themselves. What’s more downside of w31 is it doesn’t have any gesture customization which is present on the bluetooth settings menu on w51 well I’m not satisfied with the lack of flexibility on both devices in terms of control. Still good on its price point though I’ll guess you get more when you pay more and there are no perfect devices out there.

Price:
Their prices oppo encode w31 is currently priced at under 3500 rs while the oppo enco w51 is priced at under 4000 rs and to answer the question in our intro in 700 or less you will lose the wireless charging, noise cancellation, and the premium design. so adding 700 pesos for oppo w51 is definitely worth it.

Overall both earphones have good design and quality however oppo w51 emphasized that quality to its potential because of its features and yes oppo w51 is better. It has personalization and features that even 4000 rs tws devices don’t have which is wireless charging though.
